Not sure if this place is still there as I looked for it. Visited is 2012 and could find in in 2016. The manager is shifty. Had a few tattoos, one on his hand- just so you don't mistake him from someone else. I'm tattooed myself so I hold no judgement for looks only for actions. My mates room was changed when we were on a day tour due to a water leak. He had to go in as he hid some things due to the lack of trust, a family was in the room. Stuck with a portable aircon that didn't work in 45 degree heat in his replacement room. I had a great balcony and the room was ok but I'd never use my credit card, double charged a backpacking young lady who was solo and when she told him he went out until her bus had come as he knew her itinerary. Free breakfast was a piece of toast and butter if you begged. It's a no go from me. A lot of changes have taken place I noticed in 3 years, It was very hard to find milk back then but convenience store are popping up everywhere now. Just double check everything. If it's under new management I do apologise.

what i liked about this place is location. the hotel is few metres away from a 49-floor Bitexco tower. the look and design is very appealing for a 3* hotel.
my room was a 3rd floor deluxe one, clean and nice, with a rose painting on a wall, a cabinet with wine and glasses, and a sofa. breakfast was ok, nice choice of fruit. i liked the pumpkin soup and few varieties of cooked rice. and the tea was a very good green one.
what i did not like is the elevator. it is designed in a way that it only goes straight from one floor to another, no stops. i waited for AGES. there is no way to take stairs from the lobby to the floors.
the other thing is the passport. reception would like to get a passport for the duration of stay or keep a copy of it. not a single word about personal data security.
nice hotel for a business trip, i guess, with all its foot massage facilities. the one that leaves no good memories of itself.

I don't believe this is the place I stayed in, unless of course the place has changed of owner. Somebody said they paid 7.50 usd for the room, that was not the kind of price I paid, it was more like 20 usd and I had a discount price. Also the place was full and they didn't need to pay anyone to take customers there. Anyway, there are a lot of places in Vietnam that copy the name of successful places in order to confuse and attract customers. This might be one of those places.
