Firstly, if your room number does not end in 4 (eg:404) then you do not have a window to the outside world, at all. See pic one and two of our 'window' that is on the inside staircase of the hotel so all you can hear is people running up the stairs and screaming/talking loudly all the time.If you choose to stay here definitely book a lakeview room which should end in the 4.
Secondly, the mould and damp smell in the room is a constant, our asthmatic son was struggling with this one.
Thirdly, and I have noticed this on a few reviews is the faucet.
The faucet is no joke and of you have a child who is at that height, i would recommend that you keep an eagle eye on them in there as I attained a nasty burn myself. The intense heat radiating off the faucet is so dangerous, even if you only have a lukewarm shower, it does not affect the heat of the faucet side.
General cleanliness is ok, the shower was mouldy in places and ours never drained, ever, there was a contstant pool in there due to the slope of the tiling job not draining towards the drain. Have attached a pic of the water at the end of the day when it gets smelly.
Th staff were nice. The breakfast was ok, quite repetitive but definitely convenient. The views from the breakfast room on the eighth floor are gorgeous but that view is only for a small amount of time. See last pic for the view.
In finishing, this place is in need of TLC, not the RnB group but an actual refurbish and facelift.
