Hanoi Grand Hotel

No lunch on the second day. The room rates for us were doubled between morning and evening. We were changed rooms without understanding why. Not very honest. It’s a shame this address inspired us!

The hotel room is clean and the bed mattress and sheets are in very good condition. Breakfast is also fresh and delicious. It was here that I discovered the true taste of dragon fruit. The calm and friendly response of the desk clerk, Mr. Leo, is impressive. CCTV cameras are installed above all doors to prevent crime and theft. It's in the alley right next to St. Joseph's Cathedral. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby that are well known to Koreans, as well as places where you can make tour reservations. Recommended for independent travelers~

We have stayed at this Hotel in Hanoi twice now, and would not hesitate in coming back again. The Grand Hotel has changed its name to the Urban Alley Hotel, but that's all that has changed. The staff are super friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The rooms have all been refurbished since our last visit two years ago. Our room was huge, had an outdoor balcony with great views, the bathroom was large and clean and the hot water was great. Prices were extremely reasonable and being in the Old Quarter, it was only a 15 minute stroll down to the lake and the tourist hub of Hanoi. We had a great time in Hanoi and recommend this hotel as gray value for money.
