Ocean Hotel

Breakfast is taken in reception of hotel. I have had a better selection of breakfast items in a no star backpackers hotel. Fire exit to hotel was blocked by parked motorbikes no attempt to move them. Plenty of staff who spend most of there time on phones. Had to pay in advance before key handed over. Bathroom flooded when using shower no plugs worked in sink and bath. Very poor for price.

It's a 3 star hotel in Asia so don't expect the same as in Europe. The water taps are old and the furniture as well. Breakfast is very limited to western people unless you like fried rice or nuddles for breakfast... Bed matrass and pillow are ok.

The rooms are very nice, the beds are very good. You can walk in 15 minutes to the Hoan Kiem lake. Or you can take a taxi to the Old Quarter for around 40.000 Dong (2 Dollar).The staff is very friendly, but the English of the receptionists needs some improvement.
