We arrived during a very bad storm and they met us from the taxi at the end of the flooded street with an umbrella and up to their knees in water! The staff at this hotel couldn’t be more helpful and lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they are in the middle of renovating some. Breakfast is good but make sure you get there early for the fresh French bread and lovely fruit. We stayed a few days and then went on a 3 day trip and they looked after our bags until we returned. At 2am we arrived back and our bags were in our room ready. The location is great too, many great food places on the street and in the middle of everywhere you’d want to go.

This was the worst hotel I stayed in on my 5 week holiday. The room is so small, you open your door and trip up on your bed. The photos looked good enough, I wasn't expecting luxury but the the room was not what the photos showed for a "superior double room". There is no where to even put your suitcase. It was dirty, dusty, the shower didn't work properly and it just stunk. The only thing it has going for it is that it's in a good location. The staff were rude and unhelpful.

The hotel is ideally located to visit the old quarter of Hanoi. Located about 100 meters from the train, the area is well stocked with restaurants. The room is decent and the bathroom rather small. Breakfast is hearty. Relatively quiet establishment
