We already knew this hotel, having stayed there 18 years ago. What had struck us was the location, right next to the church and its very beautiful, lively square (without being noisy). We therefore decided to return with our teenagers. And we can confirm it again: the location is exceptional. Just a stone's throw from Hoan Kiem Lake, and all the shops. We also greatly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the 3 young women at the front desk: Anna, Lola and Lily. The next time we return to Hanoi, it will be, without a doubt, in this hotel.

The hotel is well situated and provided a good breakfast. We treated ourselves to the Duomo suite and were pretty disappointed with it. The bedroom area is quite dark as it only has one small outside window. The small private terrace was unfurnished, despite what it shows in the photo and it does not have a view of the church, despite the name of the suite. The larger terrace with Duomo view is not exclusive to the suite and is available for all guests to use. Showing the photo as part of the room description is misleading. Had I known I would only have a small unfurnished terrace, I would not have paid the extra for the rooftop suite. The hotel promised to update the photos and room description when I explained my disappointment, but it is now over six weeks since we stayed and they remain unchanged.
