Liberty 4 Hotel

Firstly the good part. Great location in district 1. Fast check in with efficient staff in the front desk. The bad: Terrible housekeeping. Rude indofgerent staff. Rooms are dirty. Many ligjt fixtures dont work. We stayed in Hsnoi, Danang, Hoi An, Halong Bay. Irrespective of whetjer the hotels were big or small tje rooms were clean. Staff friendly, responsive, polite. Not so in this hotel. When you are on vacation and come back dead tired in the evening you dont want to deal with poor housekeeping. Hence the advice to avoid this hotel if you can. Tjere are any number of good options nearby in the same price range

An amazing hotel. The rooms are huge, spacious and spotless. Maximum comfort. central location. Breakfast super plentiful. A bit noisy at night on the lower floors but given the proximity to the nightlife is acceptable.

1-Star – Stay Away or Be Very Careful I reserved a room for two people, but I mistakenly entered only one name on the reservation. Instead of offering help, the receptionist immediately demanded an extra 1,000,000 VND (about 30%). It felt like they were trying to take advantage of a simple reservation mistake. When I refused, they suddenly reduced the extra charge to 700,000 VND (20%), which shows how unclear and inconsistent their rules are. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. They argued with customers, spoke in an aggressive tone, and even slammed the booking book on the table, making the situation very uncomfortable. It was clear they are not trained to handle international guests or resolve issues properly. Additionally, the hotel was extremely noisy due to construction happening all night, making it very difficult to rest. This was never clearly communicated in advance. I have stayed here several times before, but this will be my last stay. I feel sorry for the owner, because the staff’s behavior and poor management are seriously damaging the reputation of the property. I strongly recommend staying away or being very cautious with this hotel.
