Fabulous opulent hotel right on the river with great views. Staff were exceedingly helpful especially when changing our room. Great location with access to everything. Breakfast restaurant was a little utilitarian but a great bar on the eighth floor with amazing views and great music and food.

Recent stay was one of many over the years. It remains an excellent value by European or American price standards, although expensive for SE Asia. The staff throughout display gracious Vietnamese service without the typical French 5 star hotel attitude. Location is ideal, especially on a weekend when the Main Street my the lake is closed to vehicular traffic. Food and amenities are excellent and you will find local monied Vietnamese present at the restaurants. You will not be disappointed if this hotel is within your budget.

Such a beautiful hotel with so much history and so many stories. Amazing guest-oriented service. Best breakfast in any hotel around the world. I am in awe of the lovely staff. So attentive and always with a smile. Spa was great too.
