Asian Hotel

Location was unbeatable, few steps from Vincom Center, less than 5 mins on foot to Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House and so many other attractions in the city. Room was small, old and a bit smelly. Breakfast buffet was terrible with very limited choices and cold dishes.

Good location, the rest is slightly below average. For that price range, it is probably the worst or second worst place we had on our Vietnam trip. Fortunately nothing went wrong but it just wasn't very inviting either. Some remarks: - The staff is neither very friendly nor helpful - Cleaniness of rooms is OK but for that price for example not even coffee in the room (was even at cheaper places) - Breakfast would be comprehensive but they are trying hard NOT re-stuff anything. It's crazy, most of the stuff in the buffet were empty for the longest time and they saw it. Sometimes they would come with a tiny plate and re-stock a bit (it was not towards the end of breakfast time). - At one day we came 20min late to breakfast and missed that it was only until 9:30. They just said "Only 9:30". No kind words, apologies or alternative offers. Again, this is nothing that can be demanded but ultimately distinguishes the average from the poor: At great hotels in very similar situations I received responses like "Oh we are sorry, breakfast is only until 9:30. Can we offer you a slice of toast"

Good location, clean and comfortable room with nice breakfast provided. Lift was small and slow, rather take the stairs if you're not carrying luggage. But they allow baggage storage even after checkout time, which was great for us.
