Crown Diamond Hotel

It's situated in a Korean area, in which you find a lot of Korean restaurants and signs. My room is clean and has all basic things: toiletries, slippers, kettle, power plugs (It was under the table so not that convenient), bottled water, towels, fridge, TV (i didn't use tho), closet with hangers. The shower room was very tiny I doubt if a big guy can fit in. Hot water was constant and good volume The room was not acoustic proof. I was waken up early by noises of children etc I picked this hotel cuz it's close to the venue where I was playing in a tournament. One minute ride and there was a huge modern mall. Besides restaurants (tons!) there were also convenient shops. Uber moto is easy to get from there, but some drivers didn't know the place well so took up some time to find me

We booked our stay in a superior room there through an online booking site and when we check in, the room as so terrible and was in the underground. Very bad smell and cannot stand at all. And when we request to change the room, they only give us better category room with surcharge.

This was my first visit to HCM and I am already in love with this city. The hotel staff are friendly helpful and most importantly they speak pretty good english. Great local food places just a stone's throw away from the hotel. Rooms are spacious and quiet all the time.
