Ha Do Villas

I stayed here for a long weekend, and chose the place for the price, avialability of an apartment and pool. This is in Dist10 which is between the city and airport. At first the location didnt matter much as taxis are reasonably priced, however by the end of the visit I thought maybe something closer to the city wouldve been better. The staff is very helpful, however sometimes English language is a problem. Wifi was mostly working good. The apartment was spacious and clean. The pool was open and clean, although small. Shower was cold - didnt get warm shower. Air-Co in the bedroom was working, but air-co in the living area didnt work. You have peace from your neighbors, however the sports fielf was right next to my bedroom window and they started noisy football on weekend 7am. The area nearby Dist10 is ok and even here you can find something to eat or shop. Shops dont take cards nor foreign currency around here. There is a big pagoda close by. The place is mostly used by families.

...I can write about this place. Situated in HCMC 10 it is a short taxi ride away from the city centre but at a price of 3.5 € that's no problem (drivers always were very correct). Finally I found the location rather positive because here one learns to know the "real" HCMC/Saigon. The hotel is located in a gated community and the rooms/apartments are very tastefully furnished and offer real high speed internet - if I had to live in HCMC as an expatriate this would be my preferred place. Another point are the extremely friendly employees, both front office and housekeeping did a very good job - thank you for a remarkable stay!

We stayed in a double villa with four couples and found the accommodation to be excellent. The villa was very clean and spacious with full kitchen, two living areas and large balcony. There is also a large pool area to help cool off on hot days. Staff seemed more accustomed to longer term stays than tourists, but were generally very helpful and most could converse in English (although we did have some difficulty getting 8 replacement towels each day). Whilst the location is a little isolated from the major tourist areas, attractions are all easily access able by a short (and cheap) taxi ride. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and I would happily recommend it to large families or groups.
