Minh Quang Hotel

Best Homestay! Back to saigon for business trip and stayed one night at Minh Quang Hotel. Hotel was clean as new owner refresh all room. Hotel is located in center near walking street and quiet. Staff and owner are friendly. Highly recommended.

They stole $100 from me. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are rubbish. There was a live bat in ours when we checked in. Its a dump and they steal from your bags/room. Tried to call and ask about my money and the guy who answered and spoke I'm English all of a sudden forgot how to speak it and hung up on me.

The hotel itself is pretty average, but the people who run it are super friendly and the location is great. Right near one of the best coffee shops too! We stayed 3 nights, and the morning we were waiting for our bus the man at reception gave us a plate of fresh mango and dragonfruit and waters. So kind! And a few days later I got an email saying I'd left my passport there at reception, he quickly put it on a bus to be delivered at my hotel in Nha Trang the following morning! And it came. I'm not saying the hotel is awesome, but the people have really big hearts here. Even the woman who can't speak a lick of English does her best to help you out. I'll be back my next trip to Ho Chi Minh. :)
