The room is OK but not very big. Difficult to open 2 suitcases at the same time. Hot water is a problem, you have to wait several minutes and the flow in the shower is very violent otherwise cold water. In Vietnam, power outlets are a problem, but there is no outlet in the bathroom. So to dry your hair you have to sit on the bed to be in front of the desk mirror. There is a kettle but no socket within reach. The TV remote control does not work. The bedding is good.

It is a good place to live. We booked the rooms twice. Clean, nice, good staff. Very conveniently located. Very close to Benh Thanh market too. All the required facilities are around the hotel. I book again if go.

The hotel is, to put it kindly, past its best and in desperate need of refreshing. The landings, rooms and furnishings are dated. Worse still, in the rooms we stayed in the noise from the street was loud and disturbing. We changed room because of this only to discover that the new room was underneath the mechanics of the air con system on the roof. That started and woke us around 5am - avoid the 8th floor at all costs. Our next room was on the 6th floor. Here the window was broken and didn't close. We asked if they could fix it, but we had no reply so stuffed some cushions in there to try and deaden the noise of the nightlife and traffic. On the plus side, location is good, but there's lots of choice in the area - quite a few of the also called A&EM - so have a look around for something better. Oh, and there's a small pool on the roof but it too is past its best and looks like it's part of a derelict night club.
