We loved the Tulip. As mentioned by others, the rooms are large, especially by Vietnamese standards. The only room available to us was on the top floor, so it was quite a climb, but we really did not mind. The location was great if you are adventurous (we are), being smack dab in the middle of the back-pack district. As mentioned in other reviews, it is located in the alley, so it is actually relatively quiet. The bathroom was typical of Vietnamese hotels, but as long as you remember to put the toilet paper outside BEFORE you take your shower, everything works out fine! The staff was friendly, but the language barrier was ocassionally frustrating. (Not really a complaint, their English was certainly far better than my Vietnamese!). The next time we stay I think I might try to get a room on the side that has a balcony, probably worth paying a little more, especially since the rooms are already ridiculously cheap. Great place to sleep if you mostly intend to get out and explore Nha Trang during the day.

The location is great with 2 mins walk to beach. The room is reasonable good and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. A budget hotel which you must try whenever you travel to Nha Trang.

I stayed here during the Vietnamese New Year. The location is perfect, and the room was very big and tidy. The staff are wonderful, and there was a nice mix of people staying there, everyone was so friendly! I had a great time, and would definitely stay here again. And a little side note - there is a Pho stand on the corner, for a mere $0.50 had the most amazing Pho and french bread for breakfast.
