The male public restroom behind the reception desk on the ground floor smelled bad with no soap. We booked a Deluxe room but some lights didn't work. Bedsheets were clean. Breakfast was OK. Their free offerings included omelette, ragout and Vietnamese food such as sticky rice and crab soup.

We stayed here by chance after our Vietnam Airline flight was cancelled. About 60 people were bused here at midnight. We were given a room on the 3rd floor. There was no lift so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. I walked into the bathroom and slipped. Fortunately I didn't fall onto my back. The floor was covered in water because the ceiling was leaking. There was no complementary water for brushing teeth but 4 bottles in the mini bar. We took 2 and they wanted to charge us for them. Told them to charge Vietnam Airlines! Sound proofing between rooms and hallway was terrible. You could here people till after 1am trying to lock their doors from the hallway with a key. It was a very basic room and rundown. It is a long way from the centre of town. We were given breakfast. Some sweet orange cordial and the worst pho. A few slices of chicken, macaroni noodles, onion and oil floating on the top. My husband couldn't eat it. Not sure if this is their usual breakfast or something they just organised for us stranded passengers. They didn't seem to have any other guests. You definitely pay for what you get so stay somewhere else.

I stayed at Golf 1 Dalat in September 2012 with a group travelling around Vietnam. First appearances were good however..... the staff need some enthusiam, I found them to be disinterested and unhelpful. There was a very old computer around behind the main desk in the dark which I had to use as their wifi unless you stood in the right spot did not work. Breakfast was included in the accommodation, one morning there was none, it had been eaten earlier and the buffet had not been replaced, we had not arrived late we were in the dining room around 7.30am. There was a staff member sitting at the bar on her mobile phone while we wandered around looking for something to eat. The window in my room overlooked the massage parlor with a red neon 'massage' sign that glowed all night through the curtains. This is a tired hotel, the walls in my room had mould in places and it felt seedy to me. It was also quite a walk from town.
