Mountain View

I stayed at Mountain View Hotel with my mom and sister for 2 nights, 3 days, and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect, in the heart of Sapa but not in the middle of all the craziness, so you could actually relax and connect to the beautiful mountains the surround the town 💚 the hotel’s name does it justice as our room had incredible mountain views were I could practice Yoga in the mornings :) also the staff was so friendly and helpful! And the food was great, definitely recommend if you go to Sapa!

Great little hotel short walk out of the main square, close to plenty of activities and dinning, clean rooms, great views, breakfast was absolutely lovely friendly service from all staff, great location easy to get into town.

The review is for the trekking tour run by Mrs. Moon, We had this 1 day 15 KM trip on December 15 that started from the Mountain View Hotel. Overall, the trip was absolute waste of our time and money. Most of the time you will be trekking along dusty roads filled with motorbikes and cars.(we had them enough in Hanoi) Yes, there were some views but basically the same views you could see on the way to Sa Pa from the La Cai station. If not for the dusty roads, you will be jumping from boulder to boulder or scrambling up almost vertical slopes for no reason. You can't see any local life except for some chickens, stray dogs, and cows along the road. Yes, locals were eager to help on some treacherous parts but then aggressively pushed to buy some overpriced crap from them during our lunch break saying that we would break our necks if not for their help. That's was probably the only reason we had to climb steep slopes and jumped from boulder to boulder! We would strongly advice NOT TO TAKE any trekking trips! Moreover, Sa Pa is a tourist trap and not worth visiting at all. There are much better places to visit. Very disappointing.
