Golden Sand Resort and Spa Hoi An

My partner and i stayed at The Golden Sands in April 2017, and it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they always seemed to be smiling. The food hear is great from Vietnamese dishes to Western dishes they have something for everyone. They have a poolside bar which has happy hour from 4:30pm - 6:30pm then the Sanctuary bar near the lobby from 8:30pm - 10:30pm where you buy one drink get another for free. We had in room dining for one of the nights as there was a function in the main restaurant so was closed to hotel guest which was really good aswell. All facilities and grounds were very clean and well looked after and would highly recommend this property to other travelers. The only downside was the amount of kids that ran around the resort, and parents not really caring about what they were up to, but this is not a reflection on the hotel at all.

I booked a room with breakfast and massages included. Definitely worth the extra. Great buffet breakfast. Lots of variety. Salon very professional and clean. A lot better than cheap ones in town. Staff lovely but hard to book anything other then standard as they don’t speak much English. Water buffalo comes out every morning. Pool excellent, with views of the ocean. Only downside is the shuttle only goes a few times and is little, so always booked out. Food is made by western chef, it is good but pricey for Vietnam standards. If you want amazing, authentic, cheap food ... eat out. Twin Room was good, no issues. Big double beds. Nice spacious bathroom and balcony.

such as relaxing place -nothing better than having everything right at your feet. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Our room was excellent and so spacious and our own pool right outside our bedroom door. It was fantastic. I would recommend this resort 100 per cent.
