Vinh Hung Emerald Resort

Just had 2 weeks at this hotel, very pleasant experience the staff were all amazing super friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be any better with easy access to the ancient town and the bars and restaurants all in easy walking distance. A grab taxi to the beach really cheap too. Good air conditioning too

Vinh Hung Riverside Resort is an easy 4 min, 300m walk to the night market and yet it is situated in a quiet location fronting the river. Both the rooms we booked were clean and the vast grounds and swimming pools were neatly kept by the groundskeepers. There was a daily complimentary afternoon tea of local snacks held on the grounds and an afternoon boat ride along the river. The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good. During our one week stay at the resort, we found the staff from the room cleaners to the groundskeepers to the restaurant staff to be very polite and friendly. We would like to give a special shoutout to Mr Phen, Ms Ly, Ms Mi and Ms Pham of the breakfast restaurant for extra services given to us during our stay. We would definitely stay at this resort again on our next visit to Hoi An.

A relatively large resort located on the banks of the Thu Bon River and within walking distance of the old town of Hoi An. Our room was spacious with two large beds, and even with a sofa and a desk. Also the bathroom was spacious although the shower was in the bath (and also seemed to have had its best time). There are two swimming pools. The main swimming pool is next to the restaurant and has a pool bar. The water in this pool was quite warm. The other pool was slightly smaller, but cooler and is more among the greenery. The restaurant is also very spacious with tables inside and outside. The food was delicious, including the breakfast buffet which had lots of choice and lots of goodies (Vietnamese and Western). Nice is also that the hotel from 16:00-17:00 give out a lot of tasty tasters (free) that you can actually eat your way around. At 17:00 you can also do a free bidding trip from the hotel dock. The staff was very friendly and gave the necessary tips. Through the reception we rented a taxi to My Son (3p, 1000k) and the airport (450k).
