Visit the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque (THE MOSQUE OF 'AMR IBN AL-'AS), one of the oldest mosques in the old city of Cairo, which can accommodate up to 4,000 worshippers. It was first built in 641-642 AD and has been continuously renovated. The mosque was named after the Arab commander Amr Ibn Al-As who conquered Egypt from the Romans in 641 AD.
Visit the Hanging Church (THE HANGING CHURCH), located in the heart of the old city of Cairo, built in the 2nd century AD, is the oldest Coptic Orthodox church in Egypt. The Hanging Church remains one of the most important fortresses of the Coptic Christian Church. In 1047 AD, this place was designated as the official residence of the Coptic Orthodox Pope. After the Muslim conquest of Egypt, the capital of Egypt was moved from Alexandria to Cairo. The architecture is uniquely designed, with the building featuring twin bell towers standing tall, decorated with a cross on top. The wooden roof is shaped like Noah's Ark, supported by 13 marble pillars, representing Jesus and his 12 disciples. The wooden doors and windows are exquisitely carved. Inside each room is decorated with exquisite patterns made from hard black wood, agarwood, ebony and ivory, like black and white. Today, these sanctuaries are dedicated to St. George, the Virgin Mary and the saints.
Visit the Church of St. Sergius (ABU SERGA) in the heart of the old city of Cairo. It is the oldest church in the original stone pillar walls from the 3rd - 4th centuries, 3 floors below the current ground level. It is mentioned in the Bible that during Jesus' infancy, the king ordered the killing of all newborn male babies. The family took him to hide in the church for more than 4 years.

It is a 27-meter-high red granite pillar with a Corinthian pattern on the top. It is considered the largest pillar ever built. It is believed that the pillar was named after Pompey, a close friend of Julius Caesar, the great Roman leader. Later, the two became enemies and Pompey fled to Alexandria before being killed by the Egyptians. Julius Caesar performed a ceremony to burn Pompey's head on this pillar. Today, only the Greek pillar stands out prominently with two sphinxes.
