Visit the Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, built to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgyevsk and the continuing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Travel to Gori, located at the confluence of two rivers: the Matkvari and the Liaghvi Rivers. Then, visit the Joseph Stalin Museum, dedicated to Joseph Stalin, the former leader of the Soviet Union. The museum recreates the atmosphere of his lifetime, showcasing his belongings, work desk, photographs, and a biography from birth to death—like a living museum.
