Visit the Georgian Historical Monument (The Chronicle of Georgia), one of the symbols of Tbilisi. Designed by Zurab Tsereteli, a famous Georgian-Russian architect and sculptor, it was built in 1985 to celebrate 3,000 years of Georgian sovereignty and 2,000 years of Christianity in Georgia. It is a large black stone pillar carved into various shapes that convey stories of Georgia's past. It consists of 16 giant pillars, each 35 meters high. Each pillar is carved with various patterns that tell stories of Georgia's history. It is divided into 3 parts: the lower part tells stories from the Christian Bible, the middle part tells the story of high-ranking officials, and the top part tells important events in Georgia. You can see the city from a high angle from this place. Then take you to Mtskheta, a small city with beautiful landscapes and one of the oldest cities in Georgia. It is more than 3,000 years old and used to be the old capital. Due to the many historical sites, in 1994 UNESCO registered the ancient city of Mshkheta as a world heritage site. Another special feature of this city is the confluence of two rivers, the Aragvi and Mtkvari, which are rivers with different colors. It becomes a strange sight when they come together.
