When the time is right, we will take you back to Yangon. We will take you to pay homage to the Shwedagon Pagoda, the golden pagoda of Dagon City or Takeng (the former name of Yangon), a golden pagoda that has been a symbol of Burma for over 2,500 years. It is 326 feet high and was built by King Ogalapa over 2,000 years ago. The Shwedagon Pagoda is covered in gold weighing 1,100 kilograms. At the entrance on all four sides, there is a hall made of wood with a castle-like roof covered in gold and lacquer and decorated with glass. The blue eyeliner and long thick eyelashes make the eyes look sweet, so he is also called "Sweet Eyes". On the feet, there is a painting of the Dharmachakra pattern. In the middle of the soles of the feet, there are 108 auspicious symbols, representing the air, the world, animals and the world's aggregates.
