Transfer to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, one of Europe's oldest cities. It is also an important port city and a center of politics, trade, and industry, as well as a lush and green city park. Visit Jeronimos Monastery, built in honor of Vasco da Gama's successful expedition to India in 1498. It is considered a masterpiece of Manueline architecture and took 70 years to complete. And it has been certified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Afterwards, we will take you to take photos with Lisbon Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is the oldest church in the city and the seat of the Patriarchate of Lisbon. We will then travel to Belem Tower, one of the important landmarks of Lisbon. This tower was started in the 16th century and originally served as a lighthouse for navigation. Later, it became a fortress of Lisbon. Lisbon - Cape Roca - Fatima - Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima - Coimbra - University of Coimbra
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Then, visit Cape Roca (Capo da Roca), the westernmost point of continental Europe. You can purchase a certificate as a souvenir of your visit. Afterwards, travel to Sintra, another popular tourist resort town. It is home to a beautiful royal palace that has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The lush park area is a relaxing place for locals on weekends. It is another city with quite distinctive architecture in the Grand Lisbon region of Portugal.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (egg tart).
Then, travel to Fatima, another important city for Christians. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima, a Roman Catholic church built between 1928 and 1953. See the sacred statue of the Virgin Mary, which is one of the many pilgrimage routes for Christians. It is believed that the Virgin Mary first appeared to three young children who were sheltering from World War I, telling them why she descended from heaven. Lucia recorded the prophecies and teachings of the Virgin Mary, and the events Lucia recorded later proved to be true. We then travel to Coimbra, another important city in Portugal, situated on a hill overlooking the Mondego River. During the Roman era, it was called Aeminium, and it was conquered by the Moors in 711 AD. It served as a trade link between Christians in the north and Muslims in the south. In 1064, King Ferdinand I of León defeated the Moors and liberated Coimbra. Visit Coimbra University, one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 1290. Then, travel to Porto, in northern Portugal. This city is famous for its "Porto wine," a source of fine wines for those with discerning tastes. It is the second largest city in Portugal, situated on the Douro River, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Porto, including the central square, Praça dos Liberdade, with its beautiful buildings housing banks and hotels, and the city hall. See the São Bento train station, decorated with blue sapphire tiles depicting Portuguese stories. Stop for photos at the oldest church in the city, over a thousand years old. This church was the venue for the wedding of King João I, father of Prince Henry, the great pioneer of Portuguese seafaring. It is built on a hill offering panoramic views of the city.

Afternoon: Cross the border to Salamanca in the Castile and León region. Located in western Spain, on a plateau overlooking the Tormes River, this city was important as a center of trade during the Roman era. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, designated in 1988. We will visit La Plaza Mayor, the city's central plaza built in the unique Baroque style, reflecting the wealth of the 16th-18th centuries. You will have free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Salamanca - Segovia - Roman Aqueduct - Madrid - Royal Palace
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Travel to Segovia, another tourist city in Spain. UNESCO designated this city a World Heritage Site in 1985. Visit the Roman Aqueduct (Acueducto de Segovia), built in the 1st century without the use of glue or any bonding material between the stones. It is considered one of the most important Roman engineering structures in Spain and is also one of the best-preserved. The aqueduct is made of over 25,000 granite stones, is 818 meters long, has 170 arches, and reaches a height of 29 meters at its highest point. The aqueduct starts outside the city and transports water into the city. This aqueduct is considered a symbol of Segovia and a main highlight of the city. Take a stroll through the old town, which is filled with various shops along both sides of the streets.

Then, travel to Madrid, the capital of Spain. Located in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, at an altitude of 650 meters, Madrid is a cutting-edge metropolis. It was here that King Philip II moved his residence from Toledo and declared Madrid the new capital, except for the period between approximately 1601 and 1607. Madrid is considered one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world and one of the highest in Europe. We will visit the Royal Palace, situated on a hill overlooking the Manzanares River. This magnificent palace, built in 1738 entirely of stone in the Baroque style, blends French and Italian architectural influences. It comprises over 2,830 rooms, not only beautifully decorated but also housing important paintings by contemporary artists, as well as valuable artifacts such as antique fans, clocks, books, utensils, and weapons. Afterwards, we will explore the Royal Gardens, where the plant life changes with the seasons. (If entry to the Royal Palace is not possible due to an internal royal ceremony or sold-out tickets, an alternative arrangement may be made.) Travel to Toledo, a city located in central Spain. UNESCO has declared it a World Heritage Site. It boasts beautiful scenery due to the Tagus River flowing through the city. Visit Toledo Cathedral, the second largest cathedral in Spain after Seville Cathedral, built in the 13th century. Its magnificent Gothic architecture and stunning interior decoration with intricate wood carvings and marble sculptures are truly remarkable.

Afternoon: Return to Madrid and visit Plaza Mayor of Madrid, near Puerta del Sol (Gate of the Sun). This central city square marks the zero kilometer marker in Spain and is the hub for the subway and all bus lines. It's also a junction of important city streets, lined with numerous shops and large department stores. We will stop for photos at the iconic statue of the bear clinging to a cherry tree (The bear and the cherry tree in Madrid), another important symbol of Madrid. We will also visit the luxurious Galería Canalejas, a new upscale shopping and dining center in the heart of Madrid, located in a historically significant building. It features a collection of luxury fashion stores, fine jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, and watches from brands such as Hermes, Cartier, Damiani, Saint Laurent, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Zegna, Jil Sander, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Stefana Ricci, Marc Cain, Valentino, Omega, and Rolex. Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Travel to Valencia, the capital of the Valencian Community, an autonomous region located in southeastern Spain. Situated on the banks of the Turia River, it is the third largest city in Spain and home to the famous Valencia Football Club. Explore the Old Town Square, home to the City Hall, Post Office, shops, and the bullfighting arena.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Explore the Old Town Square, home to the City Hall, Post Office, shops, and the bullfighting arena. Take photos with Valencia Cathedral, also known as Santa Maria de Valencia, a cathedral located in the heart of the old town. It was built in a blend of styles including Gothic, Neoclassical, Baroque, and others. Next to it is the El Miguelete bell tower, constructed between 1381 and 1429, and adjacent to it is the Church of Our Lady. The patron saint of the city is reflected along the streets, which are lined with restaurants, bars, cafes, and souvenir shops. Pass through famous Mediterranean resort towns before arriving in Barcelona, the largest city in Catalonia and the second most important city in Spain.

Visit the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, a sacred landmark of the city, designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Its work is considered Modernismo, a unique style of Art Nouveau. Construction began in 1882 and is still unfinished today. Nevertheless, it has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The cathedral boasts distinctive and unique architecture unlike any other in the world. We will take you to visit Parque Güell, a large public park showcasing the outstanding architectural works of Antoni Gaudí.
