Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Stop for a photo opportunity at the San Juan Gate. This colorful gate stands proudly as the entrance to the Old San Juan walls. The last remaining San Juan Gate, standing 16 feet tall, was built in 1634 when San Juan was a walled city with a guardhouse. Today, there are four other gates, none of which survive. These gates have been preserved for their prominence as reception areas for dignitaries such as politicians and diplomats. The top of the gate bears the inscription "Benedictus Oui Venit In Nomine Domini," which translates to "Welcome visitors in the name of God," a reminder of Puerto Rico's colonial, Catholic, and Spanish past.
Stop for a photo opportunity at the Chapel of Christ, also known as the Capilla del Santo Cristo de la Salud, a small church/museum. Located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, this church was built in the 18th century and preserved in the 20th century. Today, it is a cultural icon of Puerto Rico. Take a walk through Old San Juan, the oldest settlement in Puerto Rico and the historic colonial center of San Juan. Located in the "northwest triangle" of San Juan Island, it is also listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Visit San Cristóbal Castle, named after Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers overland. It is the largest fortification in the Americas and was built to protect San Juan from land attacks from the east. The three-story fortress with extensive exterior defenses took over 150 years to build.
Lunch at a local restaurant.

09:00 a.m. Visit Bridgetown, the capital and largest city of Barbados. Formerly the capital of the West Indies, the city was founded by English settlers in 1628 under Sir William Courten at St. James's Town. Today, it is a major Caribbean destination, with significant economic, information, public gathering, and cruise port significance. On June 25, 2011, the Old Town and Garrison areas were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After lunch, stop for a photo opportunity at the Parliament Building, home to the Barbados Parliament. Built between 1870 and 1874, these two buildings served as the meeting places of both Houses of Parliament from 16 June 1874 and were once the seat of the Colony of Barbados. Comprising two neo-Gothic buildings reminiscent of the Victorian era of the United Kingdom, they sit on the north bank of the Constitution River, bordered by Upper Broad Street and National Heroes Square to the south, forming a strategic location in the heart of Bridgetown. Explore the Bridgetown Boardwalk, a promenade stretching nearly 12 kilometers along Bridgetown's southern coast from Rockley Beach to Coconut Court Beach. Tourists and locals alike enjoy jogging or strolling along the wooden decks along the shoreline. You'll also find numerous huts and small bars along the promenade. Visit St. Mary's Anglican Church in Bridgetown, Barbados, a beautiful historical landmark known for its distinctive red roof and Georgian architecture. Built on the site of Barbados' second-oldest sanctuary, it is a significant historical landmark. The church is easily accessible from the Bridgetown cruise terminal or the city center by walking along Broad Street to the end and turning onto Suttle Street. The church is not only a place of worship, but also a popular attraction for visitors interested in history and architecture. Visit the Barbados Museum & Historical Society, a private organization with public collections. Established in 1933 in the former military prison at the historic St. Anne's Garrison, the museum houses over 500,000 artifacts representing the island's rich history and natural history. Some of these artifacts include ancient maps and paintings.
12:00 p.m. Return to the port for lunch.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the cruise ship's buffet restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Garrison, a small area in Barbados. This historic Garrison site is located approximately 3.2 kilometers south of Heroes Square in the capital, Bridgetown. Visit the Garrison Tunnels. Learn about and experience the mysterious Garrison Tunnels, built around 1820. Over 150 years old (almost 200 years old), these tunnels, connected by miles of underground shafts, served as a means of communication and covert escape for the 3,000 soldiers residing in the Barbados Garrison. These mysterious Garrison Tunnels (circa 1820) served as a drainage channel for the then-marshland Savannah and facilitated the secret movement of soldiers, connecting them to undiscovered locations throughout the garrison area. The vaulted Garrison Tunnels are carved into the limestone and are believed to have been built by British military personnel. Visit the National Armory, located in Fort St. Anne, part of the Garrison Historical Site. The National Guard can be reached on foot from the National Armory, as the area is small and designed for exploration. The Guard is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a well-preserved example of a British garrison.
Stop to take photos of the famous red Clock Tower, atop the main guardhouse at the Savannah Garrison. A historic cannon stands out in the front. This UNESCO-listed Garrison Historic District, Bridgetown, Barbados, and visit the George Washington House, a historic home believed to have been lived in by George Washington, the future first president of the United States, in 1751. At the time, he was 19 years old and traveling with his half-brother, Lawrence Washington, who was suffering from tuberculosis. While staying there, George Washington contracted smallpox and was treated and recovered. Barbados is apparently the only country outside the modern United States that George Washington visited.
