Otago Rail Trail 1 Day Cycling Tour ex Clyde or Queenstown

Departing either Clyde or Queenstown in New Zealand's Otago region, this is the ultimate sightseeing adventure for those short on time! Travel around this beautiful region on a bicycle to get up close to the local flora and fauna and explore at your pace. Stretching 55 kilometres in distance, this cycling adventure on the Central Otago Rail Trail is the ultimate challenge for those eager to get out and explore. Beginning in Clyde with a bike fitting, you'll be ready to tackle the trail that lays ahead of you. Throughout the cycling journey, you'll pass some incredible scenery, ride over two viaducts, bridges and tunnels while taking in the beautiful sights. Though this is an independent journey, you'll be able to easily navigate your way using the easy-to-read maps along the trail. If finishing the 55 kilometres is a little much for you, you can take advantage of the complimentary pickups from Chatto Creek or Alexandra which will take you back to the beginning. All riders are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes and bring with them bottled water and camera for the journey. Tours depart Queenstown at 7:45 am to return at 6:30 pm and Clyde at 9 am to return at your own pace. All riders will be given snacks to enjoy throughout the day. Time
* Ex Clyde - Arrive at Trail Journeys depot located right at the start of the trail at 9.00am for a 9.30am departure, tour finishes usually in the late afternoon (depending on how fast you cycle) * Ex Queenstown - Pick up from Queenstown accommodation at 7.45am and will return back to Queenstown at 6.30pm (guests require to conclude cycling at Clyde return by 5.00pm to catch the 5.00pm bus to Queenstown)
