• Bag size limit: Each individual piece of checked baggage must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions (width + length + height combined).
• Better baggage management: Beyond simply capping weight, the Piece Concept gives members greater flexibility to manage their allowance according to the number of pieces they are actually entitled to — making the whole check-in process faster and clearer for everyone.

Great news for Royal Orchid Plus members at every tier! Under the new Piece Concept system, Thai Airways is offering enhanced baggage entitlements exclusively for ROP cardholders:

• Silver Members : Silver cardholders receive 1 additional piece of checked baggage (up to 23 kg per piece) when traveling on Thai Airways (TG) operated flights, covering both domestic and international routes. A welcome bonus for anyone who likes to shop on their travels.
• Gold Members & Star Alliance Gold Members : Gold cardholders also receive 1 additional piece, with the weight allowance per piece determined by the cabin class booked — 23 kg for Economy Class or 32 kg for Business/First Class.
• Platinum Members : The highest tier gets the biggest reward — Platinum cardholders receive up to 2 additional pieces of checked baggage, with the same per-piece weight allowances applying based on cabin class (23 kg or 32 kg).
