The drive to Phetchaburi takes approximately 2-3 hours via Highway No. 35 (Rama II Road), passing through Samut Sakhon before entering Phetchaburi. From there, we’ll continue to Kaeng Krachan, which takes another 1.5 hours.
Jok Moo Ekachai
Before we hit the road for several hours to Kaeng Krachan, Phetchaburi, let’s fuel up with a delicious breakfast at Jok Moo Ekachai. Wat Khao Yoi
Pin this spot! Our first destination is Wat Khao Yoi (Wat Tham Khao Yoi), a must-visit spiritual site in Phetchaburi. This cave temple is famous for housing a large Reclining Buddha (Phra Phuttha Sai Yat), making it a popular pilgrimage site for visitors seeking blessings and good fortune. Inside the cave, you'll find a peaceful and serene atmosphere, with stunning stalactites hanging from the ceiling. In addition to the Reclining Buddha, there are several other Buddha images in various postures, including Phra Chao U Thong and a replica of the Buddha’s footprint. Inside, you'll find Buddha statues, Hindu and Brahman deities, and various representations of Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy).
